The social program (predicted for Tuesday afternoon) will include a boat trip to the natural reserve of the sand dunes of "S. Jacinto", and a barbecue. We are also previewing the possibility of taking the interested participants to the nearest ocean beach during the afternoon (still to confirm).

Buses will take the participants from the conference venue to the boats on tuesday at 12:30. From Aveiro to S. Jacinto the trip will take about 1h. Please preview the use of sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. The barbecue will start as soon as the boats arrive.

The conference dinner will take place in a nice typical restaurant in Down Town Aveiro (Thursday 14th, 20:00). The main dish will be "Arroz de Marisco" ("seafood rice"). A few meat and vegetarian dishes will also be available. Please let us know if you have any food preferences at the conference desk. More details on the conference dinner will be given during the conference.

A welcome cocktail will take place on Sunday at 18:30 at the Physics Department.

These events will be free of charge for registered participants. The price for the conference dinner and social trip to be paid by the accompanying persons is 35 Euro (each).
